Hi, I’m Cookie
Cookie is a goofy, cheeky boy who loves being with his humans and spending quality time together. He is deaf and will need continued training to help him learn his manners, so he'll do best with a family ready to support him and work on these skills.
Cookie can be unsure with close handling, so it's important to go slowly and offer regular consent breaks. He responds well to positive reinforcement and force-free training methods. He's very food-motivated, and we recommend serving meals in enrichment toys, rotating them often to keep things fun and challenging.
He is still learning to walk on lead and may be uncertain in new environments. Giving him time to settle into his new home will help him build confidence and form strong bonds with his family. Cookie loves being indoors and included in family life. He may be unsure of novel objects, including new toys, and will need reassurance as he explores.
Curious and affectionate, Cookie is best suited to a home with teens who can read his body language and interact respectfully, though this may be flexible for the right family.
